Message Status
Message statuses give more information on the status of a message once you click "Send." Here's an overview of the different message statuses and what they mean:
Pre-Queued
The message hasn't been received by our servers and therefore cannot be sent. This typically happens when you lose internet connection. If you refresh or navigate away from that customer, the message will not be saved or resent, so it's best to restore your internet connection and send the message again.
Queued
The message request has hit our servers and is queued up to be sent. At this point you can navigate away from that customer and the message will remain.
Sent
We received a status update from our providers that the message was "Sent."
Delivered
We received a status update from our providers that the message was "Delivered" to your customer's handset. Remember, some carriers don't send delivery receipts so messages sent to those carriers remain "Sent." Because of this, in many cases, "Sent" is as good as delivered.
Failed
We cannot message the customer for one reason or another. We typically pass the reason from our providers on to you (just hover on the failed icon), but if you want to know why you weren't able to message someone, feel free to ask us!
